Luscious liquor, libation of the bards be told,
Fierce erasings of time’s decay, limitation of the gods
Reflections of mundane glances into the inner soul
As love’s last coupling were instead
Rivulet riders to escape the maelstrom of time
Lacking razored rapiers of souls divided
Or echoes of soft-winged birds of Zephyr floes.

Seek, O wandering soul, the nectar of the sages, then
The parchment of creation will your limit be
Rushing forward in performance on the stage of our lives.

Thanks, Jaicie, but in all fairness, this was simply an extension of an exercise from the English Workshop called an exercise in kennings.

here is the link /pip/Forum32/HTML/000180.html

I just used all the kennings I had created in a single poem
