lol. for all u non greek mythology freaks cupid and psyche were forbidden lovers. cupid was a god so he had to keep himself disguised and in the darkness. one night psyche's sister told her to hold a candle to her lover to see his face. of course his godly radiance destroyed her and he felt awful but she died seeing her true love's face. at least that's how they told it in english class.
