My shy muse
has delved deep
into the
ice-covered grass
of a winter meadow.
Until the thawing
springs, I wait
in sad hibernation.

Don't worry too much... soon, as the seasons have to change, your shy muse will come out to dance and play..

By the time I recognize this moment it will be gone,
I will bend light pretending it lingers on

Take heart dear poet sir......my muse has also taken  an unauthorized vacation. Not that she has ever listened to me bofore. I'm going to take this time to contemplate my navel.    hugs, Chris
