Tonight, I tried with no avail,
to consume you.

Often, I'd wondered if you were
infatuated with a selection of words..
If I have expressed futility to suggest my love,
do tell me..

do tell me,

If I have not won.

I ache for you,
sin for you,
bleed my wounds
afflicted by
the memory.

I do
for you,
I fail..

I tried
with no avail...

to consume
you.

Still belly filled, you were
touching me
as if
I were edible...
