Chaotic Stillness

Emotion often finds itself a massive entaglement of: hate, desire, deceit, understanding,
And somewhere in this chaotic orb there becomes a perfect balance,
The center, the eye which holds it all together...love,
But desire without hate is not love at all,
And trust without deceit can make it fall,
To find yourself lost amongst all emtoion is that which is worth it all,
Maybe what we need to know is if love is truly enough,
Can the serenity calm the most ominous storm?
Can it lift the pain to allow understanding to shine?
A word can stir the deepest anarchy,
Cause the most patient hear to crumble,
I live to believe that an individual life can find hope in that which we cannot always see,
That it can cling onto the center of the entirety in faith,
Even when the illumination has dimmed,
Love is patient and love is kind,
And it is weak and it can die,
To live is to love,
And to love is to live in a sea of sincerity, of lust and dismay,
To embrace that which is the truth...that love is not perfect,
That it is hurt; it is bliss,
That it is the rise and fall of all that is good,
But to bring into balance all that has come apart,
And find beauty in all imperfections, is to discover what love truly is...
