The nip of autumn was in the air, traces of cornflowers evident everywhere.
The earth dampen, by yesterdays rain.
I sat next to you on the fallen log, exchanging
rare moments with you, knowing the answers would suddenly come of why we were here alone together,
knowing we would arrive at them just the same.

To touch you, to embrace you, to kiss you,
feels warm and so very good.  Isn't it nice to be
loved for who you really are and never once in
love's rare golden light be misunderstood?

Passions surmounting yon on the canopy's leafy floor, leaving our hearts exposed and our twain
souls panting for more.

And the words spoken true yet said so few, were
reflected in the memento's of the wild cornflowers
in hues of lavender and blue.

....everybody misses that missing embrace.... and I miss cornflowers too -- seems nobody grows 'em in Southern Cal....for the uninitiated, they're a bright Passions Blue.....

So, Gina...you've seen a rush
of cornflowers again...

I don't think
I've seen them this late
before...

but they came back
to wave goodbye...

So good, so good...thank you.
