where the wild flowers grow

Everytime I feel
the songs
written on paper
that isn't my own..

they crumble in my hair.

you spoke in lyric
and every word
seemed
beautiful.

You wrote me letters
signed your name
in sequence to the
stars I
wished upon..

They were never sent..

I never liked
the way you sang,
drawled out the words
and
sometimes I
misunderstood the message..

So be silent as
I count my tears..
each one
named after
all the parts of you
that I

never could love..

and everything old is new again... so nice this cycle of life... so not nice to see the young suffer the same pain -- but it is as human as eating and sleeping

not every lie isn't the truth

you'll understand that some day

but now understand that you are the heart of a poet

thanks meg

WOW ... it never occured to me before to "name" each tear shed ... brilliant idea.

always seeking joy, adventure and romance and wishing you find the same

Aye meg, the things that are left behind...
Passions makes a pretty good dumpster
though and you write it well.

Breath taking, in a style that is all your own my sweet poetic friend!

Very, very much enjoyed!
