drifting reminisce

sporadic drifts

of reminisce flutter down
like autumn leaves fragile
whispers split from limbs

‘ol drifting memories
ripped from out

a picture
no one
would
believe
a chaotic

mixed up yesterday
when there wasn’t time to see

Speaking of ghosts, wouldn't you know here comes mine again...

I think I've been there.  It makes my head hurt.  You worded it well.  ~K~

lucky...it is that way, remembering.  A time when you can really look at something, move it slowly before your eyes, because when it happened, it happened so fast.  Very insightful!

These shapes of yours drive my dyslexia into the purple zone, but they're worth it!

thanks Ed,

I developed it some years back now. My mother in law couldn't handle the prose format and wasn't reading my/our poetry so I put it into a shape. Now she thinks it heavenly... "the things we do for mother" she was also my english teacher in Jr. High. What a life it has been.

thanks forbearing, dale

Such enormous caverns of memories open in me when I read this.   Your words touch me deeply.

Well written!
