I chose to crawl on a different path
than the one you laid out for me.
Yet looking back through all the broken glass,
no deep cuts remain on the surface of me,
and the hidden ones are healing
silently.
For I have a secret,
an inner strength
far greater than what you did see.
Though my wings were clipped at an early age,
it only grounded me temporarily.
It feels good to soar
over turbulent seas,
thanking my God for adversities.
And when I feel the air lifting me up,
I remember to thank God
for that half-filled cup,
for it could have appeared
half-empty.

This is very nicely done

"It feels good to soar
over turbulent seas,
thanking my God for adversities.
And when I feel the air lifting me up,
I remember to thank God
for that half-filled cup,
for it could have appeared
half-empty."

I enjoyed the read very much.

You know, only you and I know the path we need to take. It sounds like you and I have the same secret. We are stronger than anyone knows. Although, sometimes I don't feel so strong.

(sigh) I too wouldn't want it any other way, Jesus embraced me too and despite the many tears I've embraced, they all have made a tiara upon my soul and I will be mine! (big hugggsssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, always be you and not nobody else, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Kacy - sweet sister of mine . . .

you are strength and this is me . . .
you got me - right to the T . . .
but I am humbled and elated that you
wrote this for me
This shows indeed what a special person
you are and that you are "real" and your
heart is pure . . . but we already knew that . . .

I agree with Bri - completely . . .

Falling feathers
land from high
upon silken treasures

Heart
and hand
held
fingers grasp
feathers ripped
tightening the grip
her hold
on my
heart
will never slip

Thank you Kacy . . .
I needed this and you . . .
deserve a great big hug
xxoo

What words can I say that this big tear didn't say better?
Anything a writer can pen that makes another person feel better is the perfect write, right?
Hugs, and strong uplifting breezes to you, Littlewings.

I've just been sitting here....marveling,
at the way you've written this sweet soul.

It must take one, to write one.

Lovely, this...you...her...

Kacy, this is a beautiful poem about our
little Sue. As she said herself, it fits her to a T. She's a very special person,
just as you are, Kacy.
Hugs to you both,
Ethel
