Lying with Her on a Starry Night

She asks, "How fair is my-
Self lying there nearby?"
She is the reason I
Am I; her beauty sighs
In those shimmering eyes
That still lie as my prize
Sparkling like fireflies,
Echoing loving cries,
Surrounding the night skies
Where her sweet beauty lies.
Constellations resize
Before her beauty dies.

Beautiful images, amazing rhyme.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
