Alas, our souls will never blend as one— I can’t believe my luck. He met you first, But that alone won’t make me think I’m cursed— It takes a lot to make me come undone, So even though our souls will never blend It’s not enough to want my life to end. It isn’t too disheartening to know That you and I will never be a pair— There isn’t any torturous despair Arising from that knowledge, even though We could have been a perfect thing to see. What kills me is the fact that you agree. |

I stand amazed there haven't been more relies to your poetry.... yet!.... I get so hung up on the form you use...half the time I forget what you said in the poem....which as first would seem simple enough, ha! Such talent you have.
