“NOT GOING TO STAY”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
Bye-bye baby, today’s when I’ll be leaving,
just tired of the continued pain and grieving,
and tears that make me all bleary-eyed,
there’s not much left, not much more inside…
Bye-bye baby, guess I’m getting out of here,
tired of me not knowing how much you care,
I pampered you with all of loves passion,
but finally got the message of rejection…
So bye-bye baby, I’m going down the road,
guess our time together was only borrowed,
I need to clear my head inside anyway,
it was nice, but I’m not going to stay…
I like this poem, Sometimes you just gotta cut your losses and ditch the....ummm...lady..=). It flowed very nicely and the rymes didn't seem forced.
good stuff,
This one is kinda sad....
But, when you're losing it's best to leave!!!!
Bill, this one sounds like a "Bluesy" song.
Did you put music to it?
I hope this is not written from personal
experience. It's so sad, but beautiful just
the same.
Darn, sorry you're feeling down. Maybe moving on will bring you some joy and happiness.
If you need someone to dance the night away with, I'm sure there would be a long line of willing ladies from here at Passions.
Huggles for better days, Marti
BC ~
This has such a ring of real to it...
If this is your story, you surely must know by now that you have many a "passion"ate female reader who would think she's off her rocker!
Comforting hugs --and a tickle to put the smile back on your face!
Bill,
The road should always be as open as the door.
For the sake of ourselves, the feelings you have expressed so well must be the invitation to better things. Hugs, TD
How very sad...I hope this is just words that are flowing into music and not what is really happening in your life....Take care...
Bill...Sometimes, you have to experience the blues so that you can really feel the blues. This poem was sad and touched me deeply. I know what it is to be on the receiving end of rejection. But, when neither side is benefiting from the relationship, it is better to go your separate ways...both freed to find that one who will love them the way they both deserve to be.
Made me think of relationships where I wanted to stay and didn't have the desire or power to leave until finally the truth started sinking in that I was not happy with the relationship and didn't see much hope for it to get better...James
If I were to receive a note of goodbye, I would hope it would be as gentle as this. Nicely penned, Bill.
(big hugggssssss) Oh Bill, this is so very heartfelt, sweet friend, this is a sad goodbye sentiment but yet it is spoken with most sincerity and I think any love who would ever read a letter like this would understand! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Oh Bill this one makes me think "how comes this lady-baby dares to reject your love?"
A very good poem, showing your great sensitivity. Better go and breathe some fresh air!
I agree with Marti...I will be standing in the line with, I am sure, many other Passionettes waiting for a dance with you.
Like this one much. Tells it the way it is!
