I am to be, not voiced for awhile,
with no value to words,
no dialogue to sound,
just quiet filmed,
a soundtrack of peace.

I am going away from myself,
a trip to within, to untangle my soul,
a makeover quest to improve
my image.

My contents, under pressure
need reasoning, the confinement of,
poisoning what once was.

I have sacrificed to be who I am
and all that remains
needs change.

or perhaps. . . all that you are is right??

great job here M, makes you consider if we really "remake" ourselves as much as we would like. . .

I believe we all need to do that from time to time--personal house-cleaning.
I'm sure you'll find more treasures than you realize...

Maureen, I have a feeling if we all would go inside of ourselves we would find things we like as well as dislike.

Everybody needs to hit a reset button every once in a while.  Good luck; safe passage.

Justbleu, thanks. I think a time away from here and stepping back from other issues
can help to revive me.

Sven, I always thought there was nothing wrong with me, but sometimes it's the outsider that let's you know differently.

EA, personal house-cleaning I like that.

Dixie, a wow?     thanks
and hugs
M

Q, thank you, I appreciate your visits.

Ethel, I am not so sure it is things I don't like about myself. I think it is more how I handle myself. I don't do it all that well anymore. And have to relearn.

littlewing, maybe we are from the same period in time, age-wise, although I doubt whether you are as old as I am.

M

icebox,  lol...that made me smile and laugh to "hit my reset button".

Hi vandana, thank you.
M
