They came and took the human
molded themselves in his likeness
and set him free on the planet
given to him from the Garden of Eve...

could have thought that the Garden was..
was where he came from
molded from masterplans
worked out eons earlier
set forth continuously
planted onto fresh soils
repeatedly harvested.

And who would be a body snatcher
to take this form as a common wrapper
why bother with the trivial pursuit
of latent men in quest of vacant loot..
why bother and take such forms...
to measure up to universal norms??

they flew in saucers without cups
had us weaned from when just pups
like Romulus and Remus would drink of the same milk
from a protective mother wove it's fabric of silk
on this blue dot
a planet surface was hot
from an ape that had swung
was where humanoid had begun
then set free on the blue dot's surface
his mind then filled with an independent purpose.

Came back to read a second time Martin. Enjoyed the way your mind wraps the shadows of creation...and opens the door to a broader view of what we ponder. TD

I wish I was half as intelligent as you.

You can write with such passion on any subject
