Swimming beneath the sea
underwater in your eyes
where the ocean turns to blue
as the current shifts and drifts
tangled in the tides.

Walking in your shadow
through flecks and silver slivers
zoom in, shudders click
pass around a sundial
cascading over waterfalls.

A walk along the dark side
veiled in the moonlight
crescent shapes
float through space
landing in the stars to turn.

Reset like a clock that ticks
in time that passes on the spot
seconds fall behind, and then
in every frame, held still
I'm there.

(sigh) Oh Lori, this is wonderful, sweet friend, I have found myself get pulled into the undertow numerous times, of the umpteenth times of curiosity I deal with and wanting to makea bold journey to find out more of what it is to dive! (kiss on cheek) This is a wonderful excursion, sweet friend, this had me pondering, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lori, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Oh I loved the part, "underwater in your eyes..."  Beautiful, just beautiful. But then this whole piece SINGS to me simply because of it's subject. Lovely read!

Wow, Lori, had to read this beautiful poem twice.  Tangled in the tides and time circles back to always you are there, for him....wonderful....

that is my take and you I know I rarely read poetry [right] grins....

It really is quite a stunning creation of yours.

enjoyed, Hugs, Pat
