sending waterfalls of hope and understanding to all, thanks to Sy /pip/Forum76/HTML/000988.html
The Earth is aflame
from a manmade game
of take, take, take,
and rarely give.
That's no way to live.
So if I were in charge,
I'd douse you with tremendous waterfalls
of love, understanding,
justice, hope,
and a great thirst for Peace.
But I am not in charge,
and I'm not sure
anyone sane is anymore.

Amen, midnitesun.  We need peace, love, hope, understanding, and all of the good things in the world.  If we'd focus on that, maybe we could save what's left on this earth.  Wonderful poetry.

EagleScorp, Ray, Krista thanks to each of you for your poetry and friendship. I'd vote for a poet, musician or an artist to lead this or any other country.
It's time for politicians to step aside and let REAL people direct the show.

all what we do in that life given as a present to ourselves ;
"take,take,take
and rarely give"
people seem to be foolish about sharing anything in that short path of life.Your lines seemed realistic to me and impressive either. Thanks for your share and happy new year...

Love this, Love this, Love this!

Hooray for you. I'd put you in charge in a second cause I'm convinced there's no one sane in charge at present.

Hugs, Marti

LOL, Marti. If you put me in charge you'll really have one insane lady at the helm.

I decline the nomination, respectfully.
If nominated I will not run.
If elected I will not serve.
If impeached I will not leave.
