Holding each other
closely,
we snuggle in front
of the fire
with feelings stirring
lovingly within us,
passionately

this is a little better. i'm not going to
attack its format, cause for all i know it
could be some structured to fit a style.
you gave your words somewhat of an honest
feel this time [not saying with your other
poems, that they werent honest] .. but w/
this one, i can almost feel the emotions
seeping thru the words. i enjoyed the write

This is warm and romantic.

I miss the fire. Hmm I'll just have to wait for the winter.

enjoyed

Dixie,
thank you for reading and replying. I know in my heart that someone as loving and giving as you will have this kind of love one day. (and very soon, I hope)

Christian,
I'm really glad to see you here. I do appreciate your reading my poem and for your reply.
I'm also glad that you could feel the emotion in it. I like for readers to feel something from my poems.

By the way, Chris, I'm sorry that I was so sassy in my response to your replies yesterday. After all, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I'm usually not that way. I guess it was that I'm just not used to people being so outspoken. I have a friend who speaks her mind that way. One thing about it, a person always knows where they stand with her....
Anyway, I really do appreciate your reading and replying to me.  Thank you, Christian

A very pretty scene you created, Ethel.

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

Ethel,

Sometimes, simple works very well.
Your presented a nice, warm cozy scene I don't know who cannot imagine it and feel good about it. (I know there is a bear skin rug there, too) smiling,

Hugs, Pat
