longing for
some sign,
yearning for
a star ,
on the
starless night,
suddenly ,
the heavens
sprinkles
faith back
into my eyes again,
immerse me
in the evening rain,
lay me down
along the
drenched
grass
of spring,
and wait
for life
to grow
again,
let it
nourish me
in its
promise
of your love,
everlasting,
if only through
the welcome
of eternity
