What beauty is in steel,
Blended with concrete and glass,
A tall pinnacle,
With a thin ring of green grass,
Circled with asphalt
Shifting winds are deftly caught,
Man’s splendor rushed quickly passed.

And so men build mountains
in mimickry of gods.
Where once was nothing
but a thought
now there is
concrete facade
in replica
of miracles.

(you inspired.)

and yes, I AM a fan of design and architecture, so don't even ASK me where the above came from.

Nice to read you PG.
Hope you have been well, m'friend.

Thank you, Serenity,
For the nice poetic response,
I am a great fan of city architecture,
Seeing it all the time, and am please you could enjoy this.
As for health, I exist the same,
Winter is my season with the dark and cold
Matching my soul so well, but with age, arthritis.

(sigh) While my heart belongs to nature, I do admire some architectural wonders made of organic compounds, like I love the Stonehedge and the Colliseum! (big hugggsssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Aszard, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Thank you, passing shadows,
My humble words do credit to only a few buildings
Some are more spectacular than words can express,
Pleased you enjoyed.

Thank you, Mistletoe Angel,
Always a pleasure to please you with my words
Your words are always so kind.

it is amazing to see the way man has taken nature as inspiraation and built things totally outside the realm. Form and space with an essence of time blended into an artform we take for granted each day as we pass..

enjoyed this Gloom..
