Back from the dwelling place,
Of the most high,
And i am filled with awe,
And wonder at the mercy of HE.

I want to climb up to a new level,
Yet a blindfold do i feel,
Disallowing me to revel,
In his freedom and grace.

Each time i try to understand,
The depth of his greatness,
And each time i fall,
Flat on my face with no answers,
Except that HE is the 'I am',
And nothin else can better describe,
The completeness of his majestic being.

And so in my utter inward war,
And questioning of why i exist,
Of why to this wicked world i was borne,
I hear him speak to me,
Yes, clearly he whispered to me.

That worry i need not,
For in place of me my enemy will rot,
And i shall reign in him,
In due time,
If i wait patiently enough,
To receive the crown of triumph.

He delivers on His promises when they are in accordance with His will.

Star -

Being a poet sometimes we want to understand so much and so deeply and that flows into our relationship with God.  It is so nice to find so many poets on here including yourself who embrace the humble attitude that we should try to understand but always know that there is so much we cannot.  Great write - Tim
