I WILL RIDE AGAIN

I AM NOT AN EXPERT RIDER
THIS HORSE WAS WAY TOO BIG FOR ME
I WANTED ONE CLOSER TO THE GROUND
BUT HE INSISTED I RIDE YOU SEE

THE HORSE WAS FINE FOR A SHORT WHILE
I ROAD HIM AROUND THE ARENA FOR AWHILE
ALL OF A SUDDEN HE WAS SPOOKED
IT WAS THEN HE BECAME SO WILD

MY FOOT SLIPPED OUT OF MY STIRRUP
I DID THE BEST THAT I COULD DO
HANGING ON WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT
THEN OFF THIS HORSE I FLEW

MY RIBS WERE HURTING ME SO BAD
MY ARM AND LEG THEY HURT ME TOO
I HAD TO CATCH MY BREATH
BEFORE I COULD EVEN BE MOVED

SOME TELL ME DO NOT RIDE AGAIN
BUT I SAY I WILL RIDE NEXT SPRING
BY THEN THESE INJURIES WILL ALL BE GONE
I WILL RIDE WHEN THE GRASS IS GREEN

Sue, again, I'm so sorry that you were hurt. I'm just so glad that it's not any worse than it is. I know it must really be hurting. I really do hope you are better soon and can ride again. Thanks for sharing.

I'm sorry you were thrown, but YES! get back on as soon as you can.
BTW, what breed did you ride? Is he green broke, or well trained and ridden often? what spooked him?
