Standing Still

I stand
before you
naked
no words
to hide me
the chill
of air
bumps my skin
I am drawn
by nature
to warmth
but here
I stand
alone

I’m not disappointed,  I never expected anything from you.

Before me no
words can hide
the chill of
vulnerability
