LongJohn was getting older,
Lost his muse for poems,
His family decided,
"He needs a nursing home."

LongJohn seemed quite happy,
Bed baths by young sweet girls,
Some with low cut dresses,
With lovely blond hair curls.

They fed him gourmet meals,
Had a lovely garden view,
Gave him crayons to color,
Always things to do.

The nurses noticed LongJohn,
If left for any time,
Would start to lean right over,
So they'd lean him back in line.

He'd lean out to the left,
They'd straighten him and then,
He'd lean off to the right,
They'd set him straight again.

His family came to visit,
Asked how he liked the 'home'
He answered with frustration,
Which started with a moan,

"I've only one complaint,
I have gas around my heart,
The nurses here won't let me,
Lean out to pass a fart."

What a great imagination you have. Your poems are simply too funny for words.

Thanking you for keeping me laughing.

As full of hot air as he is, he'd be constantly listing, never on an even keel! LOL

AND you have him surrounded by tasty morsels now that his teeth are kept in a jar by his bed... ya think those nurses work part time at Hooters? *G*

ROFLMAO, sweets... this is classic... and absolutely wonderful! *G*

HHa! that was really funny. I have decided not to post any of my sarcastic comments on this one,  just because it made me laugh so hard!

Toe, now I just couldn't stop laughing after this one. That was funny. Have you ever heard that song like that by that comedian? I won't mention his name. Anyway, it sounds like a really good love song until right at the end. It's really funny, too. Can't wait until I see what Mr. Sailor Man has to say about this one.
