Even in my ups and downs, you're
always there for me
When a happy smile I don't wear, my
heart you seem to see

My many moods come breaking through, at
times when I least expect
My temperament I try to control, to
keep my self respect

My world I'm living in here below has
so many problems
I might be better off if I just wouldn't
be trying to help solve them

But, it seems to be, that's just me, it
may be too late to change
If you'll just promise to be there for me,
my thoughts I'll try to arrange

So when my family and friends, their burdens
with me they will surely share
If we'll forever be there for each other, all
problems, together, we can bear
