Wind howling through the trees
Leaves flying through the air like baby tornadoes
looking for a place to light...

Moon overhead, in it's in-between
suits the way I'm feeling on this shattered eve
this weary piece of time called night...

Tried to sleep but gave in
The blankets fall silent to the icy floor
landing there ahead of my feet...

Stumbled down the narrow stairs
knowing full well that someday I'll miss
but will you miss me, my sweet?

Don't let the lonliness show
or the holes where your words hit my heart
like knives thrown in a circus act...

Dawn's curtain rises, revealing truths
friends have deserted, another year gone
life hands you the cold hard facts...

(big huggssssssss) Oh Sunnyone, this is sooooooo heartfelt, sweet friend, sadly there are sad facts of life that we are only reminded of at dawn but there are also many beautiful truths and may they always outweigh the sad as you count your many blessings and imagine spring fill even the voids of winter! (sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, you are a very special friend to all our hearts, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sunnyone, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thank you RS, and the stairs are very menacing....almost like something out of a Stephen King novel!

hello jwesley, and it is very good to know that even hypothetically, there's a friend there to soften the landing!  Thank you, my friend.

The night is cold, the stairs really are steep.
I hope that you'll find some way to sleep.
Another day brings another dawn,
and things look different on a new morn.

Nice one !!!!
