Did you know if I was homeless somewhere on the street,
I would love you, for you made my life complete…

Did you know if I was poor with just about nothing,
I would love you, you make me feel like something…

Did you know if I was with you kissing your soft skin,
I would love you, for my heart would know where to begin…

Did you know if I was a hobo riding the rails,
I would love you, and remember when you had pigtails…

And if you didn’t know that I feel this way with each thing,
I would still love you, for it is you to me you bring…
