Halloween

H
aunted houses, children seen
All dressed up for Halloween
Little ghosts and goblins too
Looking for some treats from you
Orange pumpkins shinning bright
Witches dressed to fly the night
Evil monsters, spiders, bats
Even mummys and big black cats
No need to worry, no need to fear
    ~~Halloween comes once a year

~ Ruth

Thank goodness for that too!  I detest fireworks!  Cute Ruth, and hope you enjoyed the evening.

Happy Halloween!, Hoot
Very cute poem
I was a witch last night - very ugly - rang my own doorbell, the grandchildren didn't even flinch, and gathered round to hear a story. Finally Bryce figured it out. He said where's Grandma? By means of elimination. It was a blast!
That was the best!
Love you
Liz

Well done, Ruth!  A perfect anagram(?).  Whatever it's called, I enjoyed it completely.

I hardly ever get in here anymore--I just happened to see a post by you, and couldn't resist reading.  I have always loved your work, and this one is no exception
