when a guys says he loves you,
do you know he means it?
can you see the truth in his eyes.

when a guy says he loves you,
is he there every waking moment?
is he there to comfort you when you're hurt.

when a guys says he loves you,
does he spend more time with you than his friends?
does he take to that resturant you've been wanting to go to?

when a guys says he loves you,
he should tell you he means it.
you can see the truth is his eyes when he says it.

when a guy says he loves you,
hes with you 24/7.
hes always there to comfort you from the pain.

when a guys says he loves you,
you are his anything and everything.
there is no this and that.

I like this poem. There is some very good truth in it.

Good write Robin, but I tend to disagree with the 24/7 thing, sometimes just knowing they care is enough, and if they are up your butt about it it can ruin it.
Love's a strange thing.

robin.. all i gots to say is play it slow.. going head over heels can end up in disaster.. if theyres no reason to think otherwise.. then perhaps he probably does.. "love" is a word used too often lightly.. maybe he wants to know what its like.. and sees that possibility in you.. the question you must ask yourself is.. are you going to return it?

This is interesting... I like the varying answers to the same question, it's a good form of poetry that's been used before, but is still effective.  I like to see how newer poets use it to their advantage.

I think the concept of "love" is a bit more changing than you seem to set it forth to be.  Love is different for anyone, and when a "guy says he loves you," he could mean any number of things.

Still, this is your own take on it, and the point of poetry is expression, so I can't really judge you on that.

Nicely done, Robin. Your poetry is really starting to shine.

I'll have to say that most of the poem made sense....cept for the 24/7 part. I would NEVER be with a girl, or my girlfriend 24/7 haha I'd probably get annoyed after the first hour.
