Glimpse Of Her Existence

She lays me down, upon the soft wet sand of her island,
She runs gallantly, towards a strength beyond her beauty.
Whimsically, she ventures beyond mighty oceans rule,
Gathering cresting foam from its tidal destiny.

Other people tread upon me, tossing sand carelessly,
Daylight surrenders to dusk, as dreams take reality.
Alone, I am waiting, for a glimpse of her existence,
Anticipating, her arrival upon my smiling face.

Smiling, she finally arrives dripping with joy,
I want to wrap her in a comfortable embrace,
Wipe the sandbar echoes, from between her toes,
Blanket her, in my terrycloth fibers for all eternity.

You are making me miss the ocean today. Wiping the wet sand from between the toes....I remember that detail so well.
This is a very nice write! Welcome to Passions.

Very nicely done,  good imagery and makes
one want to be that towel....lying there
waiting...to give all they have to the one
who feels the terry of the cloth...
