It's what we don't say
that screams in between
the words we say,

secondary it seems
that once we loved
once we were one,

it's what we don't say
that's killing us.

I said so softly
twas lost amid.
A whisper gone
thought now dim.

Very true and very wise, Anne...
Its usually the words written between the lines which shout the loudest~

Now I know why it is called the silence that deafens.

So very true! ---Silence is not always golden. We should say what is in our minds and in our hearts. That helps prevent misunderstandings by keeping the lines of communication open.
