Spammy Birthday Wishes Happy Birthday ‘Deer  When others send you birthday wishes Do they wrap them up in spammy kisses? Does the thought of that spammy surprise Bring a long recalled look back to your eyes Is just the thought of that pink delight? Enough to set your heart pounding tonight? Will your hands reach out to grab your fork? To spear your first slice of chopped ham and pork Can I tempt you with a bit of this? A spammy surprise your taste of canned bliss The pink meat that comes in a tin can Will it satisfy as no other can? When you look at it what do you see? A gourmet’s delight quite obviously To others it’s a pink flabby meat But to you I can tell it’s a high treat So for your birthday I raise a toast Here’s to ‘Deer and SPAM which he loves the most It might not be trendy or gourmet But so what you love its taste anyway I would have made you a spammy cake But that was simply far too hard to make Its meat so in a cake it’s not good Turns the flavour a little as it would Happy spammy birthday my good friend Now dear ‘Deer my poem is at an end Marsha HAPPY BIRTHDAY Breathe through the heat of our desire |
