I sit
In retrospection
Of the years
Of my life
And of all the tears
I once cried
Funny tho
Atleast it seems to me
That how some memories
Are timeless
Trapped within tiny folds
And creases of my mind
I really feel no reason
To cry
As I re-read old love letters
Frozen in time
Nor do I really
Feel the need
To curse and scream
Funny isn't it
One moment
I can be happy
On top of the world
The next
On the cold solid ground
It's quite humourous
Age is but a number
But I feel my soul to be ageless
Funny how I can feel this way
As the sun
Shines upon me every day
And as I look out my bedroom window
Sometimes I forget
That I'm only 21
And life has only just begun...

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

You could say that at any age with some verity. But, at 21, you have truely just begun.
