God was very clever, The way he created us, If we use the things we have, We surely have enough. If you tend to be opinionated, I think that you will find, Much more can be accomplished, When you keep an open mind. We have two eyes to see, The beauty from above, The sense of touch for feeling, A heart that feels love. God gave us one mouth for talking, Two ears to hear birds sing, We should listen twice as much, Before we say a thing. Be proud of being assertive, But use this gift with care, Being assertive is not a bad thing, But good listeners are very rare. [This message has been edited by Toerag (09-09-2002 09:04 AM).] |

Why, Toe, this is positively philosophical  In our case, we have two hands ... so we can write twice as much as we speak and exactly as much as we can read PS Send me the hone number of your shrink. Interloper....I thinks it's the flu...been sick all weekend, not feeling in a jovial mood...can't breathe...can't hear...sinus infection I think....two ears that can't hear....one mouth that can barely speak....so actually this doesn't even apply to me at the moment....LOL....my shrink committed suicide....thank you all for the kind replies... |

Toe darling man and writer of nights wonder, this is breathtakingly lovely. I could sit and drink at the fountain of your wisdom from dawn to moonset, and still I would find you infinitely fascinating, I would garner knowledge in your garden of wordy delight. Shower my soul in your voice and let my mind tread the ways of truth you have mapped. This is incredibly beautifully written, as always you write divinely darling man and I love it utterly utterly love it. One of your extra special ones darling heart, I’m glad I got to see this. I also hope you feel much much better. I know exactly what not being able to speak is like and for someone as verbose as me that is a fate almost worse than anything else.
