I Sit Here Wondering
~By Sue~

I try to erase all of the memories
Of when you and I first met
To ease the pain I feel inside
But, it is not that easy to forget

Those times you held me in your arms
So tight, I could hardly even breath
I never thought it would end
Your love was always so sweet

I could not have loved anyone more
Than I had been loving you
To be held by you in a loving way
Was all I ever wanted you to do

It was like with an old pair of shoes
You just did not have any use for
Your love for me just seemed to change
You did not seem to love me like before

I sit here wondering what I could have done
To make you want to stay
And to bring back the love you once gave
Instead throwing all these years away

But, since you have been gone
That day you just up and walked out on me
I have come to accept you not being here
Because nothing will be like it use to be

Oh Sue, my heart goes out to you. There is absolutely nothing you could have done differently. You are who you are and that is a warm and loving woman. Please don't question yourself in this way. I've done it. I've been there and I had to come to the conclusion through many tears and "wonderings" of my own that we could do nothing more or less than what we did. A heartfelt write. *HuGs*

Sue, you're right, nothing will be like it used to be. Girl, it's gonna be great from here on....
