Masquerading in
Daily torture
With a smile
Knowing not a cure
An antidote fathomable
For this discontent
Oh, but to breath
Your breath
To feel your hands caress
To drown in
Pools of eyes linger
To have known
Once
I felt everything pure
For which I long
And its acceptance
Then contentment
Would be found
In this
Life’s death

A beautiful legacy to love and to savor. There are never really any endings without a new beginning in conclusion.  Well done.

The power of the words written,  showering
us with the desire and yearn to be held,
to embrace and feel the warmth of another..

And to remain until.....

Beautifully done....

Connie,
Ooo, you lengthened it!
Now, instead of just the exhale,
we have the intake,
too.
