The night is calm, earthscape aglow,
in golden rays of moon's bestow,
Darkness bathed in Luna's light,
forms shadows waltzing 'cross the night.
Then from afar, lone nightingale,
joins with the wind in night's regale,
Oak trees dancing with the breeze,
Cicada's singing symphonies,
While up above in starlit skies,
Venus opens wide her eyes,
Soft sapphires of the Milky Way,
light memories of fallen day.
Upon the land, night's soothing balm,
as evening sings her soothing calm,
Fathomless shines forth the night,
shines forth the glow of heaven's light.

Did anyone ever tell you what a lovely poet you are, Sir? I enjoyed this.

Distance is the prison for our bodies, but no prison could weaken our passion.
