Skeptical sealant coats my skin- Where only cool logic dares to seep in… Intangible weakness ~mine alone~ Head down on its altar Cast the first stone… Deem me coward within these walls- I grant you my spirit as I’m destined to fall… False energy is mine upon moonless night- Seep into my freedom ‘Tis cacophony’s fight… Last breath of wakeful I sigh to the stars- Finally- my escape *laughs the mirage* *sure is hard to find good sleep these days...rofl* Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... Sleepless nights making them, sleepless nights after they're born, sleepless nights while they're growing up and more sleepless nights once they're gone. Isn't it amazing how children and sleep never seem to go together? |
