Killing is killing whether done for duty, profit, or fun

Awake but I’m not worth the sunshine
Asleep but I’m not worth the moon light
Dead but I’m not worth the demise
Alive but I’m not worth the height
I wake to smell the winter coming through the opened window
In the form of a cool breeze blow
I’m a stranger to myself and stranger to those
Who call themselves companions, only foes
Put me here in this bed
Applied these wounds to my head
Trying to repiece the events of my rise and fall
My friendship I guess wasn’t so good after all
My replies were only muted by their bats and fists
I realize all my friends are worth being missed
Then I get a good night kiss from a drop
Of the final blow to my head while they decided to stop
I tried to beat the pain but there was so many
Now I haven’t the luxury of pain or anything, any
Numb to the gestures greeting me at coffin
I wish someone would close the window its not hot in
Here just please let me rest where I lay in this bed
Did I mention in this home for the dead?
I think its time I go away
To hear the songs and play those needed to play
But I’m still here envying me
My white teeth, my face, my ego, my arrogance, see
The fake just doesn’t peer from my pores
It greets you all too great, all the more
All for nothing or all for them to see
And I’m nothing but something I shouldn’t be.

hi, this is my first time posting on the internet. thought i'd try it. bye.
