Tearless Doll

white porcelain looks
the soft hues of admiration glowed in her cheeks
bright blue sky-eyes
x-ray insight that stripped pretenders
moveable, poseable , improbable
she was all these things:jointed emotion but untouchable

in a crescendo night of evil
she was knocked to the floor
an innocent bystander
in an unrestrained home of violence

her face cracked
flawed or not, I loved her none the less
she never said a word
for all their pain
never are they allowed to show it
as
she was just another
tearless doll

Jeff my dearest friend Oh my stars how utterly utterly wonderful is this write of yours. Utterly utterly one of your utter best, the pace and the flow of this is utterly utterly superb. The images and the way you’ve drawn this show what a master craftsman you are. There is within this a sadness an ache of a soul that feels no one cares, and yet again you’ve painted the scene exquisitely.

I love it darling boy as I always do your writing, you manage to describe perfectly the emotion with a superb flick of your pen. Excellent writing I love it utterly utterly.

Ask Dulcie nicely to write some more poetry, I love her work to, but that doesn’t mean you can stop, your writing is outstandingly good

Absolutely excellent I love it utterly Give Batman a hug from me and a kitty kiss

This is an excellent emote.  I have always loved the "porcelain doll/china doll" metaphor; it's not easy to write about since it's an overused and trite theme, but, you have made it new again.  This one's a keeper.

Take care,
Melissa~

Love the analogy.  Makes me want to write about what it would be like if a human cld never express emotions.  Thanks, and nice work.

Jeff hi there my dear friend, how excellent is this write of yours, the subject one which so many turn in disgust from and yet it still goes on. It is only by exposing the nasty and evil things that happen that we can change it. A wonderfully written and powerful piece from you I love the way you’ve written this and applaud your strength in doing so sensitively and yet with powerfully drawn images. In other words Jeff my friend I like this very much indeed. Kudos to you

Unfortunately, Jeff, the picture is gone, but darn if the words don't stand alone...
You did good, Sir...very good...
