A land so vast and different
From rainforests to dry red plains
Some places are prone to drought
And others to driving rains

A place of breathtaking beauty
Something here for everyone
You could try to climb Ayers Rock
Or just bask out in the sun

This land is surrounded by water
Our beaches are some of the best
Many come here for an adventure
Then there are those who come to rest

The home of the Crocodile Hunter
And that bloke they call Dundee
This place has so much character
Here your spirit can be set free

From the Great Barrier Reef
To the amazing Kakadu
I hope you enjoy this journey
As I relay these images to you

Australia has so much to offer
We'll welcome you with open arms
And rest assured you will be seduced
By this great land and all its charms

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

(giggles in delight) Awwwww crikey, all the flights are already fillin' up, when could I come to Australia and catch a croc? LOL! I just love the Crocodile Hunter, just as I know Australia must be a breathtaking place like no other (I am a huge Croc Hunter fan, can you tell?) (giggles) This is delightful, sweet friend, you always write of your home so wonderfully, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sue:  Loved your poem and love Australia even though I've never been there.  My son has told me so much about it and I'm always reading tales about it.  Lucky you, to be living there and writing about it.

I'm coming! You make it sound so wonderful - oh! I'm already here, just goes to show you the grass is always greener...

Cool, I really would like to go there one
day, seems like a paradise the way you have
described it. My 2 favorite actors have
hailed from there too - Mel Gibson and
Russell Crowe.

Mmm, Mel Gibson...oh yes
..and other wonderful things about your homeland.
I'd love to visit one day...
Loved the tour and the poem.
