Garden Magic

Somewhere, mid the garden’s toil
Sits a fairy in the soil
She calls to rabbit, calls to boy
Calls to redbird, to sing her joy

Somewhere, mid the mystery
A fairy lives through history
A bit of sprite, a magic being
If you peek, it’s her you’re seeing

Somewhere, the fairy dwells
Just to watch the blossoms swell
She brings her inkpots, pink and red
To color our garden’s flowerbeds

This sounds so beautiful, Karilea...
We have a sundial in our front yard, with a chipmunk on it.

Who can it be when your nose has an itch,
or your back gets a tickle... or your eye seems to twitch?
Look around and you may spy a clue,
she's a green eyed fairy playing tricks on you.

Karilea...I have fairies at the bottom of my garden...You too?

Hello Karilea

The title grabbed me and your words took me on a wonderful journey through your garden.  I'm guessing that is a picture of your garden?  Such a beautiful compliment is the picture to your words.

Take care.....Sue

That fairy is a tricky sprite
letting slugs into my garden at night.
I know she wants to just have fun,
and doesn't realize the damage done.

Boy, I fooled her late last night,
I'd had enough ~ I had to fight...
I waited until she wasn't near,
then I planted traps of day old beer.

We held a funeral for every slug in town.
Who were still burping as we lowered them down!

Oh Karilea, the sprites are about day and night,
and you have to believe for then they will bring their inkpots.
How cute was your poem?  Very cute!

There is nothing means more to me than
my faith, my family and my friends.
