Closed Eyes - Open Hearts (a sonnet) Honeyed thoughts of you, cross-legged as I sit on the fringes of danger, the silence is split each beat, each tick, loud drums the heart together we love, and together: we're apart. It's never enough, even in hands we do touch If I close my eyes tight, I won't miss you as much Even though you sit here, within my soul's grasp I want you forever, but I don't ever dare ask. It's divine inspiration, a prospect so daunting But the yearning lies deep, sincere and haunting when the spirit is foolish, the mind is too smart To reach our heaven, we must open our hearts If infinity is fragmented, we shall join together each moment of down in a life-quilled feather (c) 2002 Picasso Lyrics |

This is a wonderful piece of writing, as always You can really write, your use of line and language is especially good.
