I dreamed of you last night
And the way your eyes swept me in an up and down glance
Then settled on mine as you smiled with a relax I envied
Inviting the question would I find the rest of you
Perhaps just as at ease with me

There is a knowing words don’t describe
That has to do with seeing someone
And they are almost opaque
Allowing the things inside to be displayed
As if a naked form behind frosted shower doors
That entices as it suggests
But allows no details freely seen

I had that knowing with you
And was drawn deeper into the voyeuristic experience
Of watching through the shell you presented
As I tried to sketch on the skin of my thoughts
Lines to match the direction yours took me
Without disturbing the way you molded to me
In a brief touch of hand on arm
Then a shoulder leaned on mine

I dreamed of you last night
But it wasn’t the first time
I think I have dreamed of you forever
Without knowing the way to find you

Forgive my brevity...perfect.

It has been a while since I have allowed anothers words to bring me to tears for the reflection of me I found between the lines...for the stirring of emotions I have been keeping locked away so as not to feel them ...
I know you will understand the compliment the tears offer you.

Ron,

It is good to see you my friend.  I remember you from Papa's Poetry Circle which I miss.

This is indeed a beautiful piece of work and on that elicits a lot of reflective contemplation.

Thanks for sharing it and good to see you again, my friend.  You may remember me as Bart.  I forget if I used this handle there.
