Lover’s Knot

When two souls
join in unity.
They find such
utter certainty.
The peace that
brings pure relief.
Puts aside soul’s
grief. Tears shed
for what was not.
Are healed by
This lovers knot.
All the pain that
held you still.
Is lost by this
heart’s thrill.
Unified in love’s
Light. Held in
Sheer delight.
This is the bond
of your soul.
The lovers knot
Makes you whole

Marsha

Don’t fret darling heart, would you like to see how it’s done? I’ll show you if you like. Hehehehehe 200 points, Your move beloved but I think you’ll find I win. AGAIN

dramatic in its graphics ~ making for a knot of colors? A lover's knot was well expressed in your words.

Uh oh...there WILL be peace at the end of this rivalry, yes?  Oh yes, for we want the both of you sharing perfection...and here you are, shaking it in front of us...LOL...here I am la-de-dah... and which is better?  Will taking sides make any of us winners?  I think not...so I shall just have to applaud the both of you as you write on...

Marsha - This is one of your best that I've read. But remember, Krissy does well and is an excellent poet...

beloved one you took the test
to prove you're better than the best
you write these words of endless dream
and therby win all my esteem
the pretty patterns hide the thought
of the wonder you have wrought
and yet I know, perpacious me
there's wonder in your poetry

since you and Krissy came to town
we are the winners all - hands down
I love the spirit you possess
in competition readiness
though these words are soft and swift
in me I find they reach the rift
these words of yours touch my core
offer healing evermore

don't pretend you didn't know
you used the knot to slow the flow
having read both I'm now content
to bathe in your fine wonderment
a mother/daughter team of joy
leaves me smiling you're envoy
to spread the word of writer's skill
found in both of you at will

but love to me you are the best
you know that your words have me impressed.

Keth

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
