Fused We live our lives in segments of time Normally I function perfectly fine I work, I shop, I clean and cook Rarely pause my life to stop and look I miss the beauty that lives here Forgetting to stop to lift and cheer But then our segment comes around And I hear that old familiar sound I hear the echoes of your heart in me Beating in perfect synchronicity One breast lifts as we both inhale One voice carried in the wind’s tail Touch is transmuted into thought Which reaches in where love is sought One mouth parts as we both kiss One soul bathes in perfect bliss And for that segment of our time I’m washed in utter love divine We live and breathe as a single soul Two hearts beating we are whole Then the moment fades away I carry on with my normal day Yet within my soul you love me We’re fused as one for eternity Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

Sis, sweetest sis of my heart and soul... the first time i read this i was left speechless and I didn't know what to say exactly, so for starters please let me say this is your finest piece of work to date or at least I think so. I know the love that you speak of in this beautiful heart moving poem...Your love of him shines through with every word you have penned, I can see his soul and heart beating right along with yours, and I can feel the happiness sprinkled so wonderfully across this page of blue...You know that I have always adored your work and that I am your biggest fan and friend in both life and poetry, but this time my sweet sis you have truly gone beyond all expectations...your grace and sweet finess absolutely glow!
