When an old man dies a library burns
While the unsaid words of a young heart yearns
To speak of words and days gone past
To once more a hold a love at last

To hear again his father's heart
He dreams of love gone as teardrops start
His father?s wealth he'd not forgo
He'd pass it on so all would know

His father's love of stories clear
Told to all, so each may hear
Now enacted through the pen
The youth would make them live again

He sits to write remembering all
The stories told, their lure, their call
Wisdom caught within the tale
Tales of success, woes of travail

The words flow fast smooth, quick and strong
As memory moves the words along
The pages fill the deed is done
The library lives, is new begun.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

What a beautiful story, Keth...
A son portraying his father as a library of literary wealth to be passed down through the generations.

Beautiful!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Kethry, this is soooooo very beautiful, sweet friend, it makes me smile just thinking of that little boy and how he can always remember his father through the words he has passed down to him in poetic legacy! (kiss on cheek) This is fabulous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kethry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Ketry this truly touched me - only for the fact that I wonder, can a Father such as this really exist? This would have been the Father of my dreams.  I loved this and have printed it out and kept it.  Beautiful writing.

We should spend less time on worrying when our life is going to end and more on when it's going to start!
