The house grows still, and fondles with an eerie silence
To agitate my mind, a stirring of these restless pieces
The time of sad indulgence, written on in quiet violence
To conjugate symmetric lines until the searching ceases

Then what enfolds these thoughts to rise above demise?
To pepper every conscious wince in antiseptic recess
The trigger of the shot once fired in echo sharp reprise
To limit sheltered singular reminders of a friend in regress

To sleep becomes the focused mission where I state my case
This information falls together in completed puzzle pieces
Too right to misinform my heart of truths that I must face
To lay my head upon the chest of God as all my worry ceases

Well said. Sometimes talking to the pillow is the best solution.

The last line was worth the whole poem.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Katheen, this is sooooo powerfully thought-provoking, sweet friend, it always does help to take a rest and ease in mind in comfort to contemplate and learn more about what you are facing! (sigh) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, this is indeed very heartfelt, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
