The heart of you

0 posted 2002-04-29 12:37 PM

There is a place where time and tide are one.
A place that waits for us who are in love.
Where hearts are met beneath a warmer sun
That fills us all with joy from up above.
A place that was unknown to me before.
Before you brought a love beyond compare.
A love that opened up to me a door,
The door that held your love, your love so rare.
This love that I hold now within my heart.
A love that bridges time and spans the tide.
A love that stands alone, a work of art.
This love for you that in me does reside.

A love that I have waited for so long,
Now here I sing to you, with this, my song.

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

an ocean of you,
what if I told you,
what if I said
that I love you
do we dare cross
that line between your
heart and mine~

Your poetry reflects your heart. No matter the form, that is what makes it wonderful to me. Lovely
