i'd care to be,

dont need the walk

into the promised

mated souls,
don't hold much truth these days,
as i tend to think there may be more than one,
or maybe its just because i'm easy,
man crazed that i am,

i've done the ball and chain,
the jailbird still serving time on this sentence,
and if by chance i ever get out of this place,
the pisces child just wants to soar on the sky,
solo, again, for a while

though a kindred soul may come and share my sky
from time to time,
just don't want to claim or chain
the sweet gift of love, as forevermore,

this is not about headboard notches,
that's a piece of cake anyhow,
down the road, noontime lottery,
over 7-ll coffee pots,
wink and smile at truckerboys,
get lucky; afternoon delights,
don't worry honey,
i promise to call you in the morning,

but if you're open
for dreaming michele style,
for a while,
knowing i come with weighted arms,
speak my language,
say the magic words,
we'll know when the time is right,

tomorrow is happening today,
no promises, no guarantees,
if you care to leap
on blind faith,

this beating heart,
the pouring rain,
these are the only
certainties i know
for now

love the title theme makes a great compilation tape. great stuff oh and i know you you erased it from the database but belated or early bday cause i know it was soon
