What I do on a boring day

It was a dark and deeply dismal day,
and I, yes -I-, had taken one brief class
in poetry of course!  So on this day,
(and if should I repeat myself-- forgive)
when words and rhymes suppose to mix
themselves in fashions which do noble seem,
(but if my eye can see they do seem crass
for none ought think their forms do mine surpass,)
my teacher in a voice with drool and scheme,
remarked a work of mine was full of sticks
(as long as I still breathe I daren't  relive
his other comments which I will not say.)
Ok, I will: my meter stinks, my tools are brass,
and all in all my work's (get this!) cliché!

LOL Sometimes I swear teachers stink. But of course not all teachers. I loved this.

Cold hands means a warm heart
